EAL Pupil Support for the new term
At Rokeby School Kingston, the term started with a school-based HLS training session led by Andy Harvey. In a socially distant safe setting, Andy presented a workshop of practical activities to support pupils from Reception through to Year 2 who are new to English.In a dynamic session, Andy also included classroom activities and interactive resources for Year 3-6 pupils. Additional teaching strategies also recognised the needs of Advanced EAL learners.
