ABOUT US

Hounslow Language Service is an experienced training and consultancy team specialising in developing the language of English learners in the classroom (EAL/ESL). We support schools with all aspects of EAL and provide high quality training and consultancy to help raise the achievement of your EAL pupils.

HLS have a long history and a wide range of practical experience of supporting schools in their work with Refugees and Asylum-seekers.

Therefore, we are ensuring that the specific language and learning needs of these pupils are included in all our courses. Thes strategies are particularly important in our ‘Beginners’ and ‘Assessment’ courses.

This term, we are also offering a half day webinar to assist schools in welcoming and supporting refugee pupils.

The HLS Bilingual Team, speaking over 20 languages, are available for MT Assessment, Bilingual Interpretation, MT GCSE mock and oral exams.
